I suppose you could say I was born to be a real estate agent
As the daughter of parents who used to flip houses and purchase investment properties, I spent much of my childhood looking at homes and apartment buildings while listening to my mom and dad talk about property values. Pretty exciting for a kid, right?
Well, I guess something about all those long hours in the car must have stuck with me, even though it took me a while to realize it. I went to college and received an Honors Business Degree, moved to France and got an International Business Certificate, went to Wayne State for an MBA, worked as a publisher for a lifestyle magazine, got married, had two daughters, and then it hit me - I should become a real estate agent! It’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
Being able to help people during such a significant time in their lives is incredibly rewarding, and it’s a big reason why I love my job so much. I take the time to get to know each of my clients, and then I work closely with them throughout the process to help them achieve their goals (even if they’re not so sure what those goals are at first). Whether you’re buying or selling, I’ll pay close attention to every detail because I know how much they matter, and I’ll create a plan to fit your individual needs and situation. Plus, because I pretty much work all the time, I’m always available to answer your questions, address your concerns - or just listen to you vent.
That said, I do have a little bit of a life outside real estate. I teach Pilates twice a week at Genesys Athletic Club - mainly because they won’t let me escape. I also love outdoor activities with my family, volunteering for community organizations, going out to new restaurants, and traveling the world.
